Library Overview

The library media center is a spacious facility located in the center of the school. Offering ample room and resources for research, independent study and personal reading to students in grades 1-12, it is a hub of activity at Canadian Academy. It houses more than 42,000 volumes in its collections, which contain print, digital and audiovisual materials. It subscribes to numerous magazines, professional journals, daily newspapers and several online databases. There are twenty-four laptops, ten desktops and nine search stations that students and faculty are welcome to use. The library collections are accessible through a fully automated catalog system and can be accessed remotely.

The early childhood library in the ELAC building services students in the Building Blocks program and kindergarten classes. It has a comfortable space for story time and numerous picture books to check out.
