Athletics, Performing Arts & Clubs
Welcome to Canadian Academy's extensive activities program.
Our program is designed to reflect and support the school’s mission and core values. We strive for full participation by offering a range of opportunities and experiences outside of the school curriculum to encourage learning and growth of the individual.
High School students learn to perform the traditional Japanese tea ceremony as an afterschool activity
Activities in the Elementary School are offered from KA to Grade 5 as clubs over three seasons. In the Middle and High School, students are involved in a variety of fine and performing arts events throughout the year and athletic activities on a seasonal basis.
Middle and High School students are given the opportunity to represent the school in Athletics in the Western Japan Athletics Association (WJAA) sports seasons. As a member of the Asia Pacific Activities Conference (APAC) students are also able to represent the school and work collaboratively with other APAC members in both sports tournaments and fine arts festivals hosted by fellow APAC schools in China, Hong Kong, Korea and the Philippines. APAC promotes broad student participation, intercultural understanding and respect and seeks to instill a sense of fair play and self-discipline among its participants.
If you could help or assist with our program in any way then please feel free to drop in to our school any time.
