Thank you for taking the time to "virtually visit" your alma mater. Close to 3,000 students have graduated from Canadian Academy since the school was founded in 1913. Any former student, faculty or staff member, or Board of Trustee or Council member of Canadian Academy who has spent at least one semester affiliated with the school and left in good standing is considered a member of our alumni community. Many of our alumni - whether they were here for a short time or much longer - consider their CA education and experiences some of "the best years" of their lives.
The Canadian Academy Alumni Association is here for you and is always looking for ways to better serve our alumni community. Feel free to write to the Alumni Office with your suggestions, inquiries, or requests. This website, with the online Alumni Directory of alumni email addresses, news about upcoming reunions, news from alumni, an online version of the Canadian Academy REVIEW, the school song, and list of Class Representatives, is our main way to share information with our alumni community and keep everyone connected.
We also stay in touch with alumni by publishing the free Canadian Academy REVIEW [magazine] and mailing it to over 3,000 alumni all over the world. Please send us news about your lives (CA connections, retirement, career change, birth announcement, wedding, graduation, etc.) so that we can share it with your fellow alumni. Photos are highly encouraged. If you have an idea for a story you would like to see (or write) for the REVIEW, please let us know.
The Alumni Association has a network of over 70 Class Representatives from the Classes of pre-war 1940s to 2014. The network of volunteer Class Representatives plays a very important role because they provide a link between their class and Canadian Academy. These volunteers help keep their classmates connected with CA and help to organize class reunions. We also have a number of regional representatives in major cities around the globe. If you would like to assist as either a class representative or a regional representative, please get in touch with us!
One of the hardest jobs is keeping track of Canadian Academy alumni as you move all over the world. We maintain an alumni database to keep track of where and what alumni are up to.
Please keep in touch with your whereabouts so that we can keep you posted about Canadian Academy news and reunions as well as send you the most recent copy of the alumni REVIEW. Furthermore, please know that you are always welcome to come to visit CA and don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions, ideas or suggestions regarding the Alumni Association.
Sincerely yours, Bob Hengal Director of Alumni Relations
