Breadcrumb

A home for the international community in Kansai.

With over 40 nationalities represented at Canadian Academy, we are a diverse learning community that transcends national boundaries and encompasses many identities. We help each other find a place in an ever-changing world, and we develop the skills and mindsets which enable us to embrace diverse opinions and cultures. Against this backdrop of diversity, we foster a safe environment where all members of our community are equally valued.

Our community encompasses more than just our current students and staff - it includes the wonderful families whose active involvement is paramount to the success of our community, and our network of close-knit alumni who are always welcome back on campus!

What does belonging mean at CA?

At Canadian Academy, belonging is more than a feeling - it is a commitment. We intentionally create an environment where members of our community can feel safe, empowered to be their authentic selves, and able to build meaningful connections. This commitment is reflected in our approach to DEIJ. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice can be seen in action in all corners of the school because it is woven into our community's culture of belonging.

Phone Free = More Connection

Our students put their phones in designated locked pouches during the school day. This policy helps us focus on being together, fostering real conversations, deeper relationships, and a stronger sense of belonging on campus.
