Hero Banner

Canadian Academy is not just as a place for learning- it is also very much an international hub, serving our diverse community. On any given weekend, one can find something of interest for the whole family.

As proud members of the Asian Pacific Activities Conference (APAC), our students participate with other international schools located outside of Japan. Whether it is a season-ending tournament, a dance workshop, or a fine arts performance, our students benefit greatly from the opportunity to engage with other international students. As a community, we benefit greatly from the matches, concerts, and performances when it is our turn to host the event.

International Food & Fun Fair

Our annual International Food and Fun Fair (IFFF), sponsored by our Parent Teacher Association, certainly draws the largest crowd. With food booths representing the nationalities found at Canadian Academy, many people come early, stay late, and go home with a tupperware full of treats. In addition to the wide variety of foods, game booths and entertainment by our students make for a fun-filled day for everyone. And as it is a fundraiser, our annual raffle is always popular-- you never know what goodie you might end up with!

Tug of War

Sports Day in October

Our Sports Day in October is great fun, cheering on the red and/or gray team! All students participate, with our youngest being paired with an older friend for the day. Squads rotate through a variety of physical challenges, scoring points for their team, all the while our parent community cheers on their children. Our PTA is on hand, handing out a cool treat to the children. Whether it is the red or the gray team that emerges victorious at the end of the day, we truly all are winners given the amount of fun we have.

Spring Socializer

Our Spring Socializer is a glitzy affair for adults only-- providing the opportunity to brush off that tuxedo and shine those necklaces. A luxurious evening with friends and fun, all in support of Canadian Academy's initiatives and programs, will be an evening to remember.

Live concerts, talent shows, dramatic performances and artistic displays will draw your family to our campus in the evenings. Our students are talented- and they are not afraid to show it- much to our community's benefit.

In addition to all that our students do, we are pleased to make our facilities available to others in the community when possible. Evening volleyball/basketball/floor hockey for adults, a Lego Festival for the young and young at heart, and professional development workshops for teachers throughout Asia are just some of the activities that can be found on campus.

Families are drawn to our campus as there is always something to cheer on, dance to, or sit back and enjoy.
