Our Recent Renovations

Our Recent Renovations

We are very excited to share our recent renovations at Canadian Academy. We believe that outstanding learning opportunities require outstanding facilities-- and with the completed renovation of our cafeteria and boarding, as well as the work being done on our atrium, we will exceed our expectations.

Our newly renovated cafeteria offers a bright, cheerful place to relax and enjoy a quick snack or a leisurely lunch. With new furniture and increased floor space, students can comfortably sit and chat with friends while maintaining a safe environment.

Hot, nutritious meals are offered, along with a variety of sandwiches, salads, and soups. With an additional lunch line and checkout line, we are able to feed our hungry students more efficiently. Additional sinks allow for our students to wash their hands before eating, while placing their finished trays on racks help them gain increased responsibility.

Our boarding students enjoy their stylish dormitory facilities, where the concept of home away from home is woven both into the design of our residential life program and into the architecture itself.  Girls’ and boys’ dormitories open onto central kitchens and dining areas for socialization, with carefully designed shared bedrooms achieving balance between privacy and friendship.

Our atrium, with its unveiling set for early October, will take its place as the heart of our school.  Featuring a performance space with an updated sound system partly sponsored by our PTA, flexible learning areas, and a community coffee shop where all will be able to sit, socialize, and enjoy a latte.

Our cafeteria and boarding, as well as our atrium, are joining our library, science labs, and maker space in recent renovations, making Canadian Academy the place where high learning expectations are supported by outstanding facilities.
