Summer will be here before you know it-- and while it is a wonderful time to create family memories, catch up with a good book, and to work on that tan, we know that children can get bored. A summer program that challenges your child in a supportive environment, whether it is snorkeling and sailing or coding and science, keeps your child's mind and body active.
With four different programs on offer, CA students can pick and choose their experience suited for your family's calendar. We are excited to offer the following:
Summer Start
Current Pre-K-Grade 6
June 16-June 17
Summer Start is a two-day program that helps children finish the school week and transition smoothly into the upcoming summer programs. While Summer Start is primarily designed to support current CA students, we welcome any student to join us for these two days of fun!
Summer Adventure
Current Grades 5-8
June 19-June 23
Summer Adventure is a 5-day overnight camp at YMCA Camp Anan in Tokushima prefecture. Designed to get kids active and engaged with nature, we have planned an array of outdoor activities ranging from kayaking to night hiking to snorkeling, and so much more. Summer Experience
Current Pre-K-Grade 6
June 20-July 8
(no weekends)
Summer Experience is a full-day program from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for children currently enrolled in Pre-K through Grade 6.
You may sign up your child for one, two, or three weeks, whatever fits your family’s schedule best!
Summer Discovery
Current Pre-K-Grade 8
July 18-July 29
(no weekends)
Summer Discovery is a program designed for children with all levels of English (even if that means zero!). Join us for two weeks of educational fun, including an outdoor activity day and barbecue! During the course of the program, children will prepare a presentation for their families and friends that they will proudly share on the last day.
