As we celebrate the Class of 2025, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Amanda Higgins for the time, energy, and care she has dedicated to the Canadian Academy community over the years.
Amanda has been an active and enthusiastic presence in many aspects of school life, from serving on the PTA and Council, to helping organize the International Food and Fun Fair, Senior Parent Committee, Booster Club, and supporting APAC trips.
As an Alumni herself and having her father (Dr. Barraclough) as the long time school doctor of CA, Amanda has always had deep ties to CA and the Kobe area. Her thoughtful, bicultural perspective has helped her connect with many in our international community. She’s often been the go-to person for ideas, encouragement, and practical support.
As her daughter Ren prepares to graduate, we want to express our appreciation for the positive impact Amanda has had on our school. We are grateful for her involvement and the many ways she’s helped build community at CA.
