After School, Weekends, and During Breaks

After school and on weekends you’ll find boarding students enjoying the shared spaces of the dorm facilities, like movie nights in the lounge, impromptu ping pong tournaments, or baking sessions in the boarding house kitchens. Special occasions like birthdays and the annual dorm winter party are celebrated with fun group activities and special desserts.

On weekends, students often take advantage of our great location - taking the train into Kobe, Osaka, or even Kyoto, either with friends or in organized group outings.

During the Fall and Spring Breaks, boarding students are invited to join organized trips to see more of Japan. Past destinations include Okinawa, Niseko, and Tokyo. All CA high school students are invited on these trips, but priority is given to boarding students.
