Age and Language Requirements
Age Requirements
Students must be at least 4 years old by the start of the program June 15th , 2026. Students younger than stated above will be accepted only if currently attending Canadian Academy or accepted as a Canadian Academy student for the 2026/2027 school year.
Language Requirements
Students enrolled in Summer Experience are required to have communicational skills in English.
At the Summer Experience, our priority is to create an environment where your child feels safe, heard, and excited to learn. During our program, students move between different environments and interact with four different teachers every day. To fully enjoy and engage with the diverse experiences we offer—from sports to creative arts—students must have the basic language skills to follow changing instructions and connect with various staff members.
This is particularly critical for our younger learners. If a child lacks the fundamental language to communicate their needs or understand their teachers, the "experience" can quickly become overwhelming rather than enjoyable. We want to ensure that every student is linguistically prepared to participate safely and happily from day one.
