Japan has some of the best snow in the world - just ask our students! Our ski trips are a great opportunity to learn something new while building lasting friendships.

Grade 6
Hachikita Ski Trip

The Grade 6 ski trip is a 3 day, 2 night event in Hachikogen, Hyogo prefecture. The ski trip provides an opportunity for students to develop a range of personal and group skills in an environment which many students would otherwise not experience. The program takes advantage of learning in environments outside the school setting and has a focus on the nature and importance of human functioning.

Students travel up to the picturesque ski resort of Hachikogen by bus and depending on their ski/boarding ability, ski on the runs of both Hachikogen and Hachikita.

Grade 7
Shizukuishi Ski trip

The Grade 7 ski trip is a 3 day, 2 night event in Shizukuishi, Iwate prefecture. The ski trip provides an opportunity for students to continue to develop a range of personal and group skills in an environment which many students would otherwise not experience. This trip enables the students to focus on their relationship with their peers and teachers. Students travel up to the scenic ski resort of Shizukuishi by plane and bus.

Grade 8
Ajigasawa Trip

The Grade 8 ski trip is a 3 day, 2 night event to Ajigasawa, Iwate prefecture. The ski trip provides an opportunity for students to continue to develop a range of personal and group skills in an environment which many students would otherwise not experience. Students learn about and develop the knowledge and skills needed to function effectively in group situations. Students travel up to the magnificent ski resort of Amori Spring Ski Resort by plane and bus.

While transport, accommodation, meals ski/snowboard rental and lift pass are included in tuition, students are required to pay for ski lessons and the purchase/rental of ski clothing and helmet.
