Welcome to our Parents
Parents are always welcome here on the Canadian Academy campus. We hold a variety of parent meetings through the year, but at all times parents are welcome to visit campus, talk to staff, and visit classes.
Making the most of what CA has to offer means that you as a parent also take part in our school, embrace our school's mission, and accept the Enrollment Agreement. The Parent/School Partnership means that parents are actively involved in the life of their child and the life of the school.
At home, it is understood that as a parent you love and nurture your child, provide a safe environment, healthy foods, and a place to rest, study, and relax. At school, our goal is to provide your child with the best education possible. A CA education is based on our school's Mission statement and IB Learner Profile. We look forward to supporting you in your role as parents, and look forward to your support for CA in our role as educators.
Parent support for your child is demonstrated at school when you attend student performances, competitions, parent-teacher conferences and events throughout the school year.
Parent support for our school can be shown by volunteering your time to PTA efforts, and/or by making a financial donation annually to CA. The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is comprised of current parents volunteering with faculty in support of the school. The PTA sponsors a variety of annual social and fundraising events, facilitates relationships among parents and faculty, and is responsible for significant enhancements to facilities and programs that directly benefit students.
Make a donation to the school and support CA financially to enable us to provide the best possible learning environment for our students. Tuition alone does not cover all costs of educating our students, and the rate at which we make school improvements is affected by our ability to afford those improvements.
Volunteers are always needed and appreciated at Canadian Academy. Opportunities for volunteering at school range from offerings by the PTA, Activities Department, Service Coordinator, Advancement Director, Counseling Offices, etc. The more you give, the more you receive...we encourage you to join us in support of our students and school.
