International Food and Fun Fair 2023

We are very excited about this Saturday's  PTA International Food and Fun Fair! Our community and their friends are invited to join us for this fun-filled event, with doors opening at 10 am. We encourage everyone to take part in our traditional Parade of Nations, starting at 11:00 am. Entertainment will be sprinkled throughout the day on a stage on Nestle field. The event will finish with our raffle, roughly 2:00 pm. The PTA would like to remind you of a few important points to consider to help in your planning.

• Everyone will enter the atrium through our main entrance at the top of our staircase. To help ensure the safety of our community, if anyone in your family is not feeling well, please stay home.

• Food and raffle tickets will be sold, with country food booths located in our cafeteria.

• All food and drinks to be consumed outside on Nestle Field.

• We encourage your family to bring your own tableware, although some will be available.

• Canadian Academy picnic mats (in Japanese, 'leisure sheet') will be available for purchase! They are really cool and can be used again and again!

• The PTA invites your family to grab a spot on Nestle field, relax and enjoy our stage entertainment, and have the children play the games organized by our grade 10 students!

• There is no parking available at Canadian Academy.

• Parking is available at several paid parking garages on Rokko Island. However, we encourage everyone to walk/use public transportation, as alcohol will be available.

• Using your own tableware as well as public transportation fits in well with this year's push to be as environmentally-friendly as possible!
