Our Secondary School LGBTQ+ Student Group has been hard at work organizing activities for Pride Day at CA on Friday, June 3rd! June is Pride Month all around the world and we are looking forward to participating in a global celebration of diversity, identity, and love.
The LGBTQ+ Student Group is a student service organization at CA that works to foster a safe and supportive environment that celebrates and welcomes all people regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. On Pride Day at CA, secondary school students are invited to dress up in rainbows and make rainbow crafts organized by the group's student leaders during lunch and the afternoon breaks.
At Canadian Academy we believe that embracing human diversity provides opportunities for enrichment and we are excited to show our support for the international LGBTQ+ community!
