Dear CA Community,
We hope that this Weekly Bulletin finds your family back in the rhythm of school. With the fluctuating weather, please be sure to stay warm and healthy.
Even though the calendar seemed quiet for this past week, our students were actively engaged in learning. Whether it was working on their New Year calligraphy, pounding rice into mochi, or challenging themselves on the basketball courts for our WJAA tournaments, it was clear our students were happy to be back!
There are several upcoming information sessions, workshops, and coffees, some of which are focused on a particular grade level. Do be sure to check the calendar as events are added and modified from time to time. This Thursday, our elementary parents are invited to the library for an info session on critical literacy skills, starting at 8:40 am. Thank you for wearing your lanyard.
This Friday is shaping up to be a great way to end the work week-- and to (re) welcome the New Year with the CA parent/faculty/alumni community-- at our PTA's Shinnenkai! With live music, dancing, a complimentary first drink, cash bar and finger foods, we look forward to seeing you in our atrium from 7 pm. Babysitting for CA children up to grade 5 will be provided in our P&G Black Box Theater.
