Weekly Bulletin 20 January 2023

Dear CA Community,

It was a pleasure seeing so many parents enjoying the PTA Shinnenkai this past Friday. Thank you to our PTA for hosting this community-celebrating event. It was a wonderful way to finish a busy week as well as our first semester. 

Our admissions office would like to remind everyone that the deadline for the first round of admissions decisions for the 2023-2024 school year is January 31. If you have a child who is not yet attending CA, or perhaps a friend who would like their child to attend, please be sure to submit the online application in order to be considered. Admission decisions will be shared towards the end of February. Soon we will ask our current families of their plans for the 23-24 school year as well. We are excited about the amount of interest for the coming school year!

Upcoming information sessions include the IB Diploma Programme course selections, applying to colleges and universities, and learning critical literacy skills in the upper elementary. Please check our school calendar for specific dates and times.

Our grade 3 and 4 students are ready to light up the stage in our main theater on Friday, January 27, with doors opening at 1:50pm. It is a perfect time to take in their art exhibition in our atrium. 

Need some exercise? Our community sports continues, with volleyball, badminton, and the world's quickest growing sport, pickleball, all open to our parent/staff community. Please see the announcement below for more information.
